Q: How long in advance do I need to order?
A: For all occasion bespoke cakes or cupcakes orders, We strongly advised our customers to book 4-6 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
For the wedding cakes, we advise customers to book 6-12 months in advance.
Q: How can I order a cake or cupcake?
A: We recommend that you make an enquiry by email to cathy@cathyscakecorner.co.uk or by using the form on our contact page.
Let us know about the date of your event, what kind of cake you are looking for,
number of guests and any cake ideas you have, so we can give you a quote.
To confirm your order, a deposit is payable. We will send you the details of your order,
quotation and our terms and conditions. Please read this carefully. By paying the
deposit you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions.
Q: What are your deposit and payment terms?
A: We take a deposit on all cake orders. Once your deposit been paid, then your order will
be secured in our diary. This is to cover the costs of cancellation and turning other orders
away. We cannot reserve a date in the schedule until the deposit is received.
For all occasion cake and cupcake orders, we will ask you to pay a 50% non-refundable
deposit,with the balance due before collection.
For the wedding cake orders, we will ask you to pay 50% non-refundable deposit, with the
balance due 4 weeks before the event.
Q: Can you provide the nut-free cakes?
A: Although we do use the nut-free ingredients for our cake, we cannot guarantee
a nut-free environment because we do use nuts in our kitchen.
Q: Can I cancel my cake order?
A: When your cake order is secure, if you decide to cancel your order, we won't be able to
refund your deposit, except under certain circumstances such as extreme weather
conditions ,a pandemic or other situations beyond your/our control.
Q: Are you insured and Council inspected?
A: Yes, we have the public and product liability insurance with £5 million
coverage. We also have been inspected by Wokingham council and we are very proud
to have a 5 star rating. You can find us on Wokingham council website.
